    I also started my garden 🪴 at Covid-19’s, and amazingly I’m still growing more and more of my veggies, is not just to grow food also I have grown so much as a person, specially with patience and mental health , I love it and I will be doing it for as long as I can. 🪴💕

    If you cut the potatoes into individual eyes after they chit, then leave them in the sun to scab. If you plant each chit it will make a full plant as well!

    Great vid Gaz. I top dress my rhubarb annually with a bag of manure. It is a heavy feeder so benefits from some supplemental nutrients.

    Hi! Kale is a perennial many if not all the brassicas are perennial. When the bugs get to them which they will because nature have to eat too. Those plants will push out new growth and you can eat on some kale in the winter… But must leave the cultivar in the ground

      He has a whole video about it, but basically they were layer hens, and when their production slows down, they get killed, so there is a rescue that saves these birds from dying. So Gaz is just giving them a good life they wouldn't have had otherwise. He gives the eggs to non vegans because the chickens have to lay them, and at least money is not being spent on eggs at the market.

    Lol with a CH not a SH. Potatoes are delicious and there are so many recipes they can be used for. This year is going to be exciting what you do with all the rhubarb. I enjoyed your fun fact on the leaves of the rhubarb, that was interesting to learn.

    Have you ever used the large leaves from rhubarb to make birdbath? It takes a concrete mixture and a bit of effort, but they make such uniquely shaped birdbaths that you can just put on the ground or put up on a pedestal. She has a very impressive, rhubarb patch, totally agree..

    Rhubarb is a delicacy that thrived in the steppes of modern day Uzbekistan, and became popular during trade in the 1600s. Fascinating to see how you use it. Thank you for noting that rhubarb leaves are toxic to eat but can be used for composting!!! I didnt know 😮
